FMs224 - Stick-On Mounting System with 3M VHB Tape for Installation of Accessories on Hard Flat Surfaces
Technical Details:
The system is designed for mounting accessories provided with male adapters shaped as a 12 pointed star on hard, flat, smooth surfaces of vessel (aluminum, fiberglass and laminated wood). Consists of an Fs219 mount and a mounting pad (110 x 110 mm), the base of which is covered with 3M VHB tape. The mount comprises a female adapter. Attached to the pad with four M6*20 DIN 912 screws and four M6 DIN 934 nuts. The adapter of the accessory is inserted all the way into the mount, the retainer of which is in open position (UNLOCK), then the retainer is closed (LOCK), thus clamping 7 out of 12 adapter teeth. The mount design provides a protective plug. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, the pad is covered with PVC and equipped with 3M VHB tape (110 x 110 mm, thickness — 1.1 mm). The protective plug is made of PVC. Fasteners — A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel.

- The FMs224 kit includes an Fs219 accessory mount and a polyamide mounting pad covered with PVC and equipped with 3M VHB tape.
- The system provides quick installation and can be stuck on hard smooth, flat and degreased surfaces (aluminum, fiberglass, laminated wood): fiberglass and aluminum motorboat boards, inflatable boat seats, etc.
- The included mount is compatible with the entire BORIKA FASTen® product line, but is designed for only light loads.
- With conversion adapters, which are presented in the BORIKA FASTen® catalog, you can fix in the mount some accessories and devices from other brands ( SCOTTY®, RAM®, RAILBLAZA®, YakAttack®, carp fishing tackles, etc.).
- Fixation of the accessory is fast and simple: switch the locking mechanism into the UNLOCK position, insert an adapter all the way into the mount, and move the retainer into the LOCK position. You can rotate accessories in 30° increments.

Tips on using & installation:
- Installation of FMs224 does not require drilling, which is especially important for fiberglass boats: it is enough to remove the protective film from the surface of the pad and press it in the place of installation. The system can be used as intended immediately after sticking. The structure reaches its maximum strength within 24 hours after installation.
- Please, note that the system is not designed to be sticked on on the inflatables: if you need to install the accessories on the surface of an inflatable PVC boat, we recommend using mounting systems which can be glued on the boat surface with two-component polyurethane adhesive (such models as FMp224, FMp225, Mp218, Mp219).
- It is not recommended using this model with accessories that require high multidirectional loads (anchor systems, ladders, oarlocks, accessories with extenders).
- To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.
