Product description:

  • The struts are designed for converting of Ng600 and Ng1100 monopods (telescopic holders) into tripods by adding additional support points. The assembly with such struts minimize the vibrations and shaking of the mounted equipment that are unavoidable during streaming in the motion.
  • The basis of the struts are two telescopic tubes adjustable in length (the maximum length of each is 50 cm), which, from the one end, are connected to the monopod tube, and on the other, can be fixed in the BORIKA FASTen® mounting systems, pre-installed on the vessel.
  • A simple ball joint is provided near the base of each strut which allows for adjusting the tilt and swivel angle and for installing the structure in mounts located at different distances.

Materials: fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, anodized aluminium with powder coating, A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel, brass.

In the package: a set of Lg400 struts.

Tips on using & installation:

  • You will need three mounting systems pre-installed on the boat in the shape of triangular. The farther they are located from each other, the more stable the structure will be.
  • The system is designed for medium and high loads.
  • First connect the collars of the struts with the tube of the monopod. Then disconnect the ball joints at the base of each strut. Install the monopod into the mounting system, then fix the adapters with balls into two other mounting systems. After that — connect the ball joints with the small sockets on tubes of the struts inserting the balls until they click. Set up a comfortable and stable camera position and tighten all the joints.
  • Both struts can be compactly folded after using for transportation due to their two-element telescopic design.
