HTs213 - Spinning rod holder in the kit with T-Track adapter (Ht213 + Fs218)

Product description:

• This kit is one of the most versatile and compact solutions for installation a spinning rod on upward-directed kayak tracks. It includes an Ht213 spinning rod holder and an Fs218 mount. Each of the products from this kit can be used separately, combined with other BORIKA FASTen® accessories.
• The Ht213 is a multifunctional spinning rod holder which is suitable for fixing spinning rods with different reels: inertia, electric, baitcasting (multiplier) and fixed-spool — thanks to a special cut located in the front of the holder. 
• The handle of the spinning is securely fixed in the body with a retainer, which protects the tackle from loosing and falling into the water during trolling, when biting large fish and during transportation. It allows you to quickly get out the rod if necessary. 
• There is an end stopper at the rear of the holder, which serves as a limiter and prevents axial rotation of rods with the end cruciform slot. It also can be taken off when fixing long-handled spinning rods. 
• At the bottom of the holder there is a hole for attaching a safety leash carabiner, which allows you to maximally protect the tackle from loss. 
• The design of the holder provides full control over the process of fishing and trolling: it allows for adjusting the tilt angle with 7.5° increments: You can fix the spinning rod vertically or horizontally. The selected tilt position is secured by tightening the hex knob nut.
• Fixing of the accessory in the mount is carried out on the ROLL & LOCK principle: the mount body turns counterclockwise, which moves the locking mechanism to the open position, then the adapter is pushed into the mount all the way in and the mount turns clockwise, clamping teeth of the accessory adapter.
• The mount comes with a polyurethane gasket to ensure a tight fit in the T-Tracks, which are larger than the guide lugs on the bottom of the mount. The gasket ensures that the mount cannot rotate in the T-Track, it comes with the assembly and is used if needed, at the user's discretion. 
• A D-ring is provided on the body of the mount, which allows you to fix the spinning rod retriever's carabiner, thereby protecting it from loss.

Tips on using & installation:

• As the main splines of the tilt joint are 27.7°, you can supplement the holder with extenders from 10 to 30 cm with the same splines. When using extenders, you have to consider that the structures on which the mounting system with a fixed holder is attached (in this case, a T-Track) can be designed not for the increased dynamic loads that are unavoidable during fishing.
• The Fs218 mount is designed for medium loads and receives any accessories provided with male adapter, which are presented in the BORIKA FASTen® catalog, as well as devices from other brands ( SCOTTY®, RAM®, RAILBLAZA®, YakAttack®, carp fishing tackles, etc.). There is no need to use any additional tools (a hex wrench, fasteners, adhesive, etc.) during the installation process. Installation is quick, and the mount can be used as intended immediately. 
• An important advantage of this compact mount is that it can be used not only on T-Tracks. With the pads of Mb218, TRk150 and TRk255 models it can be installed on a hard surfaces (deck or side), with Mp218 and Mp219 pads — on the surface of PVC inflatables, and with Ms220 pad equipped with 3M VHB tape — on hard, flat and smooth surfaces. This allows Fs218 to be used when equipping almost any vessel. 

• Under the mount of this model it is possible to attach an additional PVC gasket (Pm218 model), that can be used for hanging of PVC MOLLE pouches for tackles and tools. 

• To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.
