HTb213 - Spinning rod holder with the kit for installation on the hard deck or side (Ht213 + FMb)

Product description:

• This kit (Ht213 + FMb) is suitable for mounting a spinning rod on hard surfaces (for example, on a fishing kayak board, aluminum boat or fiberglass boat) and contains everything you need for installation: namely fasteners, a hex wrench and a step-by-step guide. Four attachment points provide additional strength and reliability to the structure.
• The holder has been designed for spinning rods with different types of reels and handle diameters of up to 38 mm.
• The basis of the kit is a universal spinning rod holder with a reliable and well thought-out design. The retainer securely fixes the handle, protecting the spinning rod from falling into the water and allowing for a quick release if necessary. 
• There is an end stopper at the rear of the holder, which serves as a limiter and prevents axial rotation of rods with the end cruciform slot. It also can be taken off when fixing long-handled spinning rods. 
• At the bottom of the holder there is a hole for attaching a safety leash carabiner. 
• The spline tilt joint allows installation of the spinning rod both parallel and perpendicular to the water surface, and provides complete control over the fishing process. The joint is also equipped with 7.5° spline adapter washers for more precise tilt adjustments and the spring for quick spline spreading.
• The holder adapter is compatible with all BORIKA FASTen® mounting systems and allows the accessory to be fully rotated in 30° increments. 
• The fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, of which the main parts are made, protects the handle from damage (compared to metal holders).

Tips on using & installation:

• The main splines of the joint are 27.7°, so the device can be supplemented with BORIKA FASTen® extenders, the length of which does not exceed 300 mm. This is relevant, for example, for spinning rods with long handles, the tilt adjustments of which are prevented by the side of the boat. 
• A PVC sealing gasket is provided between the mounting surface and the pad, which prevents the structure of water entering into it and protects the surface of the vessel from possible damage during the mounting process. 
• After the end of fishing, the spinning rod adapter can be easily removed from the mount and the mounting system can be used to fix other BORIKA FASTen® accessories. 
• Can be attached on 5+ mm thickness polyethylene surfaces, as far as 5+ mm wooden, 3+ mm aluminum and 4.5+ mm fiberglass surfaces.
• Installation is easy to do using the included step-by-step guide.

• For ease of installation, the package includes a hex wrench, suitable for the fasteners provided in it.
• Pay attention that the reliability of the mounting system depends not only on the mount and pad, but also on the strength of the mounting surface. For example, this should be taken into account when installing the system on polyethylene boats.
