Ft500 - Telescopic transducer arm mount for installation on a transom
Technical Details:
It has been designed for transducer mounting at a distance of 309 to 514 mm from the mounting point on the transom. The design consists of the covering transducer fastening (that includes two swivel brackets and radius washers), two telescopic tubes (Ø 20,4 mm, L — 240 mm; and Ø 16,2, L — 220 mm), a male adapter shaped as a 12 pointed star, a spring-loaded joint with 27.7° splines, that is equipped with 7.5° adapter washers, a spring and an M5*50 DIN 912 screw. The tilt position and rigidity of the joint is adjusted with a hex knob with the inserted M5 DIN 934 nut. The assembly also includes the fasteners: M6*30 and M5*40 DIN 912 screws, M5 DIN 985 and M6 DIN 985 self-locking nuts. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. The washers of the transducer mount — of polyurethane. The tube is made of anodized aluminium, fasteners — of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel (except for an M5 DIN 934 brass nut).

Product description:
- This telescopic model is suitable for mounting transducers (sonars) on the transom of inflatable motor boats or along the side of other vessels (fishing kayaks, boats, float tubes, etc.).
- The design allows for adjusting the depth of installed equipment from 30 to 50 cm. So in a folded position the accessory has the same size as the most compact Ft300 transducer arm mount.
- Suits for mounting a wide range of transducers from such brands as Lowrance, Raymarine, Garmin, Humminbird and others.
- The accessory is equipped with the covering fastening system that is suitable for most popular transducers. Two swivel brackets and the set of radius washers allow the coverage to be adjusted, and additional rigid “fins” of this system help to protect the transducer from mechanical damage.
- One of the design features is a spring-loaded spline joint that is equipped with a deflection function when hitting underwater obstacles. This system works when the knob nut, which secures the joint, is loose.
- The customer can adjust the rigidity of the tilt joint: the transducer is mounted underwater stationary, when the nut is screwing in. The transducer arm mount of this model also can easily be fixed in the raised position when equipment is not in use.
- Spline joint (7.5° — due to the Dp230 adjustment washers that are included in the assembly) allows the tilt position of mounted equipment to be flexibly adjusted.
- The adapter of the transducer is compatible with all BORIKA FASTen® mounting systems, using conversion adapters it is also possible to fix it in mounting systems from other brands: SCOTTY®, RAM®, RAILBLAZA®, YakAttack®, etc.
- The eccentric tube of the arm is made of anodized aluminium. It also is covered with protective powder coating on the outside of the upper stage. Such an additional layer protects the metal against rusting and environmental influences.
