FEx250 - Compact accessory mount in the assembly with extender (L — 250 mm)
Technical details:
Designed for fixing accessories at a 250 mm distance from installation place. The assembly includes a compact mount inserted into an extender tube. Its 27.7°side splines are connected to the adapter's splines using an M6*50 DIN 933 screw and an M6 DIN 934 nut. The tilt position is fixed with a hex knob. The design comprises both male (for installation on the vessel) and female (for fixing of accessories) adapters. To fix the accessory adapter, open the mount (it must be turned counterclockwise), push the adapter all the way in and close the retainer, turning the mount clockwise. It will clamp 7 out of 12 adapter teeth. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. The extender tube is made of anodized aluminium. Fasteners — of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel.

- The FEx250 extended mount is designed to fix on the board of a vessel accessories, which require adjustments in height, overboard and tilt regarding the installation place. It is a reliable solution for securing accessories at a 250 mm distance from the installation point.
- The assembly of this model is characterized by a tube with a larger diameter compared to other extenders and a reinforced adapter. It also has only one tilt joint.
- The mount included in the assembly lets the user extend any accessories (even those which are not equipped with tilt spline joints). It is compatible with any BORIKA FASTen® accessories with a male adapter shaped as a 12 pointed star. Using BORIKA FASTen® conversion adapters you can also install in it some accessories from SCOTTY®, RAM® , RAILBLAZA® , YakAttack® and carp fishing tackles.
- The FEx250 can be fixed into any pre-installed mounting system in a few seconds. Its adapter can be fully rotated in 30° increments and fixed in the selected position.
- Fixing of the accessory is carried out according to the ROLL & LOCK principle: turn the mount body counterclockwise, which moves the locking mechanism to the open position, then install the adapter all the way into the mount and turn the mount clockwise.
- The mount is inserted into the extender tube, the splines of the tilt joint between the extender and the adapter are 27.7°. To fixate the tilt position of the extender with the mount towards the board use a knob nut.
Materials: fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, anodized aluminium, A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel, brass.

Tips on using & installation:
- Adding Dp230 adapter washers with 7.5° splines to the assembly, you can adjust the tilt position of the fixed accessory more precisely.
- Pay attention that extended mounts are not recommended to use with accessories provided increased and dynamic loads.
- To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.
