Ng600 - Telescopic Monopod (L — 710 mm) for Action Cameras
Technical Details:
Designed for mounting action cameras at a distance of up to 710 mm from the installation place. The design comprises a 1/4'' screw thread and a 2-to-3 GoPro connector, attached to a two-stage telescopic tube (length adjustment from 420 to 710 mm) with a spline joint. The tube is connected to the male adapter shaped as a 12 pointed star using a 27.7° splines joint, which includes Dp230 adapter washers (with 7.5° splines). To fixate the tilt position of both joints, knob nuts are provided. The structure can be rotated 360° around the adapter axis without removing it from the mount. The tube is made of powder coated anodized aluminum. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, fasteners (two M6 DIN 985 nuts, M6*50 and M5*30 DIN 931 bolts, M6*35 DIN 963 and M6*60 DIN 912 screws, a spring) — of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel (excepting M6 and M5 DIN 934 brass nuts).

Product description:
- Is designed for mounting on the vessel of various types of action cameras. The maximum length of the monopod (70 cm) approximately corresponds to the length of an outstretched arm. This is enough to capture bright moments without being distracted from the most important thing — fishing or sailing.
- The feature of this product is a telescopic tube, which consists of two elements and allows for adjusting the distance between the camera and the installation point on the boat: from 43 to 71 cm.
- The holder is equipped with two types of fastening: a 1/4'' screw thread and a 2-to-3 mounting connector, which is a mesh of three plastic posts (or “fingers” as some call them) with a screw through them to provide clamping force. This system is classic for many action cameras and can be chained almost infinitely so that you can install additional accessories.
- The design allows the most flexible adjustments of the fixed camera. First option is tilting and rotating the camera in relation to the monopod itself. Second one is adjusting the tilt angle of the monopod in relation to the adapter, fixed in the mount.
- Can be installed in any BORIKA FASTen® mounting system or mount, and using conversion adapters — in the mounting systems from other brands (SCOTTY®, RAM®, RAILBLAZA®, YakAttack®, etc.).
Materials: fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, anodized powder coated aluminium, A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel, brass.
In the package: an Ng600 action camera monopod.
Tips on using & installation:
- Adding a Ng004 holder with an additional 2-to-3 connector to the assembly, the user gets the opportunity to fix the lighting, navigation lights or, if necessary, another action camera.
- The assembly can be supplemented with a SBa038 adapter, which has a ball-and-socket joint and allows the fixed accessory to be moved 360° over the 1.5" (38 mm) ball and fixed at the selected position.
- To minimize camera vibrations, the holder can be supplemented with Lg400 supporting struts, converting a monopod into a tripod. The struts create two additional support points and add stability to the structure, which is important for live streaming video on the move.
- To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.
