ALp002 - Anchor Lock with Automatic Stopper with the Kit for Installation on a PVC Boat (Al002 + FMp224)
Technical details:
It is intended for lowering and hoisting anchors weighing up to 8 kg. The kit includes an Al002 holder and an FMp224 mounting system. The design of the holder comprises a cast body with a male adapter shaped as a 12 pointed star, a stopper with a cord for releasing a rope or belt, a spring and a roller. Fits for a halyard Ø up to 10 mm and a belt up to 35 mm wide and up to 2.5 mm thick. The assembly includes fasteners: two M6*55 DIN 912 screws and two M6 DIN 985 self-locking nuts. The mounting system consists of a pad 110 x 110 mm and an Fs219 mount, fastened together with four M6*20 DIN 912 screws and M6 DIN 985 nuts. It is intended to be glued on the PVC surface with the help of two-component polyurethane adhesive (not included). The kit also includes a step-by-step installation guide. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. The pad is covered with PVC. Fastener and spring are made of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel.

- The spring-loaded locking system automatically fixes the anchor: just pull the rope while hoisting the anchor.
- For easy lowering, a releasing system is provided: just pull the cord on the holder body.
- A convenient roller makes it easier to slide a belt or halyard.
- The holder can be installed in any BORIKA FASTen® mounting system, designed for medium and high loads.
- The FMp224 mounting system allows for using the holder at any inflatables made of PVC: from a motorboat or RIB to an inflatable kayak, belly boat (float tube) or SUP-board. It includes an Fs219 accessory mount and a polyamide mounting pad 110 x 110 mm, covered with PVC. The mount is fastened to the pad with four screws, which makes the structure strong and reliable.
- With conversion adapters, which are presented in the BORIKA FASTen® catalog, you can fix in the mount some accessories and devices from other brands ( SCOTTY®, RAM®, RAILBLAZA®, YakAttack®, carp fishing tackles, etc.).
- Fixation of the accessory is fast and simple: switch the locking mechanism into the UNLOCK position, insert an adapter all the way into the mount, and move the retainer into the LOCK position. You can rotate the installed accessory in 30° increments.

Tips on using & installation:
- By attaching a longer rope to the releasing cord, the user gets the opportunity to release the anchor halyard while being at a distance from the holder.
- The mounting kit is securely glued to the surface of the PVC cylinder with two-component polyurethane adhesive according to the step-by-step instructions and can be used for its intended purpose the day after installation.
- To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.
